Payment Terms
Once a student is accepted and a ÂŁ60 deposit payment has been received a confirmation email will been sent by The Makeup Box Ltd. This deposit payment is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another makeup class/date within a six month period.
Full course fees must be paid in full two weeks before students can begin their training (via PayPal, bank transfer or by cheque.) The Makeup Box Ltd reserves the right to refuse a student if full payment has not been received.
Course fees do not include travel, accommodation, beverages or meals.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made directly over the phone to the office and followed up with an email. Should the course be cancelled by the Makeup Box Ltd due to unforeseen circumstances, bad weather, terrorism or act of God, then the Makeup Box Ltd would not refund students and an alternative makeup class date will be offered.
Attendance
Students must complete and email back their initial assessment forms in order to complete their enrolment onto their makeup class. Failure to do so may result in students being refused commencement of their makeup class and moved to another date.
Students are required to attend all the days of their makeup class, unless specified otherwise. If students fail to attend any part of their makeup class for any reason, The Makeup Box Ltd will not offer refunds. Should a student be sick an alternative training date will be at the discretion of The Makeup Box Studio subject tutor to availability.
Students should arrive on time, as stated on their joining letter. Students should contact the Makeup Box Studio if they cannot arrive on time.
The Makeup Box Ltd reserves the right to withhold certificates for poor attendance.
General
Students are expected to look and be professional at all times. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of courses. No refunds will be given.
Teaching rooms are to be kept in a clean and tidy manner. Students who cause any damages any of the Makeup Box Ltd property will be held responsible and charged appropriately.
Students should not remove any property from the school without prior consent.
If translators are required, they must be arranged and paid for by the student. The Makeup Box Ltd must be notified of translator’s attendance at time of booking.
All personal belongings at the premises are left at the students own risk. The Makeup Box Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage.
The Makeup Box Ltd reserves the right to change courses, dates, examination dates, examination locations, course content and fees without any prior notice.
The Makeup Box Ltd reserves the right to change or restructure course content in order to best cater for students learning abilities. This can result in an increase or a decrease in course content.
Students who fail assessments due to poor attendance and negligence of coursework/homework will be asked to pay for any extra classes needed in order for them to pass their assessments. The Makeup Box Ltd is not liable for this extra cost.
The Makeup Box Ltd accepts no liability for students who practice on clients away from the school premises. All students are advised to make sure they have both personal and public liability insurance before utilising knowledge gained at London Hair & Beauty Ltd.
The Makeup Box Ltd reserve the right to change location of courses between all registered premises’ (prior notice will be given).
All terms and conditions are accepted by students upon booking any courses at The Makeup Box Ltd.
